NavGaea Consulting Inc. (“NavGaea,” “we,” “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit navgaea.com or contact us through the site. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it, in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Who Is Responsible for Your Information
NavGaea Consulting Inc. is the organisation accountable for personal information collected through this website. Enquiries about this policy or requests to access or correct your information can be directed to:

2. What Information We Collect
We collect personal information only when you actively provide it or when it is generated automatically by your use of the site.
2.1 Contact form submissions
When you submit the contact form on navgaea.com, we collect your name, email address, organisation name (if provided), the service you are enquiring about, and the message you write. This information is submitted voluntarily by you.
2.2 Website analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised data about how visitors use the site. This includes pages visited, time spent on the site, the general geographic region of visitors (country/province level), the type of device and browser used, and the source of the visit (e.g., a search engine or a direct link). GA4 uses cookies to collect this information. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.
This site also uses Google Search Console, which provides data about how navgaea.com appears in Google Search results (search queries, click-through rates, indexing status). Search Console does not set cookies on your device and does not collect personal information directly from site visitors.
2.3 What we do not collect
We do not collect payment information, government identification numbers, health information, or any sensitive personal data through this website. We do not run advertising on this site. We do not use tracking pixels, social media tracking cookies, or any third-party advertising technology.
3. Why We Collect This Information
We collect and use personal information only for the purposes described below:
- To respond to your enquiry. Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your message. We will not add you to a mailing list or use your contact details for any purpose other than the conversation you initiated.
- To understand how the site is being used. Analytics data helps us identify which pages are useful, where visitors come from, and how to improve the site. This analysis is conducted at an aggregate level and does not involve identifying individual users.
4. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Navgaea.com uses cookies for one purpose: Google Analytics 4. GA4 sets cookies to distinguish visitors and track sessions anonymously. No other cookies are set by this site.
A cookie consent notice is displayed on your first visit. You may decline analytics cookies by not accepting the notice, or by configuring your browser to block or delete cookies. If you disable cookies, the site will continue to function normally — only the analytics data collection will be affected.
5. How Long We Keep Your Information
- Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to and follow up on your enquiry. Once a conversation is closed and no ongoing relationship exists, contact records are deleted.
- Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months within the GA4 platform, after which it is automatically deleted by Google. NavGaea does not export or archive raw analytics data.
6. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
Analytics data is processed by Google LLC under the terms of the Google Analytics Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy. Google may process this data on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. By using this site with analytics cookies enabled, you consent to this cross-border transfer of anonymised data.
NavGaea does not share contact form data with any third party for any purpose.
7. Your Rights Under PIPEDA
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:
- Know whether we hold personal information about you;
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Request that inaccurate information be corrected; and
- Withdraw consent to the collection or use of your information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@navgaea.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
